Q: What is the Southeastern Greek Leadership Summit (SEGLS)?

A: The Southeastern Greek Leadership Summit (SEGLS) is an opportunity for undergraduate members of the Greek Community to assemble and discuss, analyze, and address the current realities existing within our culturally based Greek Organizations.

Q: What is the purpose of the SEGLS

A: The purpose of the SEGLS shall be threefold: to create a supportive environment that is conducive to open and honest dialogue regarding the current state of our culturally based Greek Organizations; to provide an opportunity for students to be educated and enlightened through a holistic approach to analyzing our respective organizations and the Greek Community in its entirety; and to expose our students to other culturally based Greek organizations hence fostering a sense of unanimity among all culturally based Greek Organizations.

Q: Which Greek Councils would benefit most from attending SEGLS?

A: The SEGLC is open to any Council and/or organization however, due to the emphasis on culturally based Greek organizations members of culturally based Greek organizations will probably find the information more relevant to their Fraternity/Sorority experience.

Q: What are the costs associated with attending SEGLS?

A: The registration fee for SEGLS is $100.00 per person and your school is responsible for your travel and your hotel accommodations. Hotel rates are $145 per room and each room sleeps up to four people.

Q: Can New Members of the Greek community attend SEGLS?

A: The SEGLS is beneficial for all members, both new members and/or older members would benefit from the Summit.

Q: Will there be fun things to do during the Summit?

A: Yes. There will be various activities built into the Summit schedule to ensure you have fun throughout the entire experience.
